Tuesday (4/21)

Math has a set time for online meetings at 9:00 am.  If you have any questions, please let me know, so we can schedule a meeting.  I am flexible in terms of the meeting times, so, if 9:00 does not work for you, send me an email with a good time.

Accelerated Pre-Calculus:  Please send me an email when you are ready for the test of the Trig. of General Triangles unit.  All work that has been submitted has been graded (in schoology).  You can select the document to see all feedback.

Calculus:  The next unit (integration) is available on khanacademy.

Wednesday (3/25)

Accelerated Pre-Calculus:  We have completed the graphing trig unit.  When we return to school, we will briefly review the material and test on it.  The test will include the following:  graphing (sin, cos, tan, sec, csc, and cot), writing an equation from a graph, and applications.

We are starting our self-taught unit!!!!!  The self-taught unit will include the following topics:  law of sines (including the ambiguous case), law of cosines, area of a general triangles (heron’s formula), and applications.  The practice problems and quizzes will be located on schoology.

Here are a few videos that I think will be helpful.

Oblique Triangles Law of Sines

Ambiguous Case for Law of Sines

Law of Cosines

Area of oblique triangles with Heron’s Formula

Calculus:  Keep working on the khanacademy assignment that will close on Sunday night.

AP Calculus:  You have a new assignment on delta math (due next Friday (4/3)).  It is a review of various topics but they involve a calculator.  You will also have a few free response questions to submit on schoology.  The first free response question is due Friday (3/27).

Friday (3/20)

Accelerated Pre-Calculus:  I created another graphing tangent assignment for you to resubmit your last assignment.  When grading, I noticed that most people did not graph the tangent correctly so I included a short video (it a little questionable 🙂 ) where I worked out number one.  Once you receive your feedback (between now and Sunday), you can redo the tangent questions and resubmit them.

Calculus:  The two questions were posted today on schoology.  Please submit those on Monday (in schoology).

AP Calculus:  Make sure you submit the two questions (area between a curve).  I also sent you a message on remind (make sure you check it).
